My little discussion about fire pit cover
A fire pit ring generally consists of a cylindrical container for the wood or fuel for the fire. Its advantage is that you can carry it just about anywhere to make a portable fire, and does not cost much either. Other than a very creative kind of a garden accessory, it can also be used for cooking. Take your pick a barbecue and grill over the crackling flames, or maybe just putting a stick through your stake and enjoying the aroma of an open air roast? While it's not exactly conducive to cordon bleu culinary fare, a fire pit ring still provides a fairly passable simulation of cooking and living off the land in the middle of the wilderness all you really need is a little imagination. All of which you probably haven't had the chance to enjoy since you hung up your boy scout uniform.
